From the moment I walked into Sofitel I felt comfortable. Staff were courteous, friendly, and very accomodating. Sadly, when I got to my room, l opened my suitcase and found jar of coffee I had in my suitcase had broken, I had coffee everywhere in my clothing. I tried to clean but was making a worse mess. I called hotel cleaning manager and they came straight to my room. Manager Tiw was amazing. She took my bag of soiled clothes, had tbem cleaned, and they were back to me that night. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff at Sofitel for relieving my stress level and helping me when I needed help. Special mention to Tiw and Wamm’pa for being so kind, helpful, and supportive. Gotta say… Sofitel Sukhumvit, you are amazing.

Where form is valued but function isn't.

Over rated and over designed. Here form is valued over function. Most rooms and public spaces are black. In the room, the light switches are black on black walls, with no indication of their function. This blinds go up or come down when all you want is to switch the light off. The marble bathroom is black too with slippery marble floor - a death trap. The best thing about it are the uniforms which the young girls wear beautifully. It takes 2 lifts to get up to our room which is a fart. The bar is right next door to the night club so you cant hold a conversation due to the screetching 'singing'. We had a horrible stay there. Sorry Sofitel.

Checked in on 13 May and surprisingly there were no power in my room after I went into my room. I was told by receptionist that due to heavy rain, power grid was affected. Managed to come back after one hr and luckily power was restored. Everything was perfect as this has been my second visit. There is no much difference between Luxury Room(previous stay)and Manifique Room(current stay) except on higher floor and with coffee capsule machine. I still prefered the long couch in the luxury room than the single seat sofa in the Manifique Room as it was not too comfy after long sitting. Next time I would book the Luxury Room instead. Glad to see Tony at the lobby area and most of the front desk and concierge team were magnificent, always uphold the great Sofitel standard and service! Can't wait to return soon! Roland 1704

Club lounge team was amazing. They are excellent service. they are always taking care of you. Food and drinks are fantastic. I would recommend this hotel for you guys and especially the club lounge service team named: Macky Minaj, Nokky, Sindy,Lai,Valen,Khaow,Ann,Tum,Gift & Nick. They are all so perfect! The Cocktail signature 🌹 Rose garden absolutely amazing. Thanks for all Club team ❤️❤️❤️
